Kristin joined Lehrman Beverage Law as Associate Attorney in 2021. Kristin focuses her practice on trademark law, federal alcohol beverage law, and state and local alcohol beverage law. She assists clients with trademark needs, federal compliance, state and local licensing, and other legal considerations pertinent to the production, labeling, importation, exportation, distribution, and sale of alcohol beverages.
Prior to law school, Kristin spent five years in the beverage industry selling wines and spirits for a national distributor and working closely with producers, suppliers, and vintners from across the globe. This experience not only turned Kristin into an oenophile, but also led her to focus her law school studies on those areas of law highly relevant to the production, marketing and sale of alcohol beverages.
Kristin is admitted to practice in Texas and the District of Columbia. Kristin earned her J.D. from Texas A&M University and her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
When not in office, Kristin enjoys travelling, cooking, listening to audiobooks, spending time with family and friends, and practicing and instructing Lagree. A native Texan, Kristin particularly enjoys exploring and plugging in to the DMV area and community as her new homebase. Kristin is thrilled to re-join the beverage industry and to add visiting local wineries, breweries, distilleries, restaurants and more to her must-do list—in the name of professional development.
